January currently! I am loving this new format!
As many good things as I can remember!
Let’s break it down!
My brother-in-law died this past Christmas and so we spent the first week of the year up in Idaho together with family. It was so good to be with family again, especially during such a hard time. Life lately has been quite precarious. These moments of real connection make it all worth it.
MC and I hosted an Intention Setting Workshop on Zoom when I got back. It went so well! I also spent time making a new vision board and processing 2024. My dining room table exploded at the beginning of the month.
I have been working away from home. Mostly in libraries this month. It keeps me less distracted when I’m writing.
It’s been fun to get each library’s vibe. The civic center library is a beaut.
I will share what I take with me to the library soon.
It’s an amended version of my daypack travel bag.

Because we watched Reality Bites, I’ve been listening to the soundtrack. Been obsessed with:
And of course:
Both are my karaoke songs!
My brother-in-law who died shared his favorite songs with my nephew (so grateful!) and I’ve been listening to the playlist all month. Here are some of my favorites too. It’s been a great way to feel closer to him. Music is magic.
Enjoying citrus season!
I also made a bunch of Chicken Soup this month!
Adding a food sealer to my latest obsession list.
Adding sardines into the mix for extra omegas.
I am enjoying GOODLES (gluten free mac & cheese). They’re like KRAFT but better.
Made my mom’s meatloaf. Yum.
I’ve been mixing Trader Joe’s Zhoug sauce into rice all month. It’s so good.
Made a philly cheesesteak thing but with ground beef over a potato.
I meal-prepped a few times this month!

I also learned that it sucks to eat a salad out of a jar. I will not eat a salad out of a jar. I will only eat it if there’s a plate around. Lessons were learned.

I thrifted this jacket thing and I am obsessed with it. It feels like wearing a giant blanket and it makes hugging a million times better.
If you want to join me in this Currently Workbook practice, you can order one through blurb.
(I sold out of my copies!) (yay, thank you!)
Or you can download the workbook from my Etsy shop if you want to do it digitally/print it out.
If you need some accountability in your week, I host a group on Sunday mornings, called Self-Check-In. We go over our Intentions for the Week and check in with our calendars (I use my planner!).
I hope your February goes well! Take good care of YOU and remember to leave a trail of magic behind this month. START when you’re ready. Your future self will thank you!
Tracy, I absolutely love your Substack. Especially the long inspired by list which I found on Pinterest before coming here. I’m thinking about using your “inspired by” spread in my own sketchbook. If I do, would you mind if I share it on here - and credit you? ❤️
Thank you, Tracy for bringing and sharing your magic!! I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you and the family love. ❤️
