June! June went by pretty fast.
My family was away for 13 days this month. I had the whole house to myself. Well, I had two cats to deal with but other than that, I was alone!
Hooray for alone time. I love alone time.
I also was sick. So, that sucked.
I did have a TON of Facetime calls with friends this month so that was delightful.
Casey and I saw Phil Rosenthal on Tour. He was hilarious & inspiring.

We also had friends over who we haven’t seen in a LONG TIME and it was so fun to see my child take care of littles!
Did some studying of my astrology chart.
Started a 33 day streak of morning pages. I’m checking in with instagram subscribers on shutterbean. YAY.

Not reading as much as I’d like. But that’s ok. Some months are like that. I have been reading a bit of Thriving as an Empath. I pick it up every few days. I have also been working my way throught A Year in Practice.
I need to be part of a book club that reads again!
pages from my hobonichi cousin for I LOVE LISTS this month:
In June we released 4 episodes of Keep Grief Weird - a podcast I’m cohosting with my friend MC McDonald, PhD.
You can listen to them on Spotify (or wherever you listen to podcasts!)
We have a substack, where you can find our show notes:
Episode 5- Death Anniversaries
Episode 7- Disenfranchised Grief
We also have an Instagram where we share clips and other things- @keepgriefweird What I love about doing this podcast is that I have been able to learn so much about grief and have a buddy through the process! It has been very healing hearing from our listeners and I get to practice my creativity making reels & art for the show. Thanks for listening!
I also wrote about finding my Mom’s shoes at an Estate Sale.
Other tunes:
If you want to make your life feel like a movie, introduce this song to your day.
Stuck in my head.
Going through an Otis Redding phase. This is a bop.
If you love little kids singing.
A grief song.
Sometimes a drink feels like family.
I get a lot of work done with this song.
I love singing along to this one.
I only did meal prep once this month! We are in SUMMER mode here.
So many snack meals this month!!
We’ve been doing a lot of grilling this month! No one wants to turn on the stove or oven.
I am obsessed with Trader Joe’s Pickle Seasoning.
Brought Corn Fritters back in to the rotation now that it’s corn season.
Family dinner outside!! My uncle and brother came over and we had a feast.
