November was a heavy month, huh? The election, the holidays, the world feeling dismal and SO MUCH GRIEF. I made some art about it. I am glad I have this practice to turn to when I need to process what’s going on in my brain. Putting it all down on paper helps.
Watch it unfold in the video above. Subscribe to my Youtube channel while you’re at it ;)
Here are my November pages.
This month’s spread (dedicated to my Mom) is a combo of my favorite sticker book stickers and my travel watercolor kit.
The Beav! I cannot believe this month marked 7 years of life without her.
She really did enrich everyone’s life. What a gift that was.

Let’s get into the month!
I spent about 8 days of this month out of town. We went on a road trip up to Oregon! We drove up to the University of Oregon because Cooper was playing at a baseball camp there. That’s where I went to college so I was able to visit my old hangouts and see my two great friends- Erin & Jessica! I got to do some pilates and have quality girl time. It was grand!
What a trip it was to be back in the college bookstore at the U of O. The art section TOOK me back in time and I left my mark there through pen samples.
We also left town to go to my uncle’s house up on the Trinity River for Thanksgiving.
I love watching Cooper enjoy outdoor time, golfing & rowing a boat!
It was nice to work in other people’s kitchens for a bit; it made me happy to be back in mine. I love that perspective after traveling.

To prep for the new year, I’ve been going over my old Currently Workbooks to see the words I’ve picked every year to focus on.
pages from my hobonichi cousin for I LOVE LISTS this month:
We put out a podcast of your listener letters & announced our Holiday Workshop on Keep Grief Weird this month!
My friend Erin played this for me and it is a JOURNEY.
Erin also brought this one into my life! Thanks, P.
I read on Reddit that this song helps focus and it does.
Obsessed with this one.
This is easy to have on repeat.
I forgot about this song! Been listening to it while on my elliptical.
I cooked Thanksgiving in my uncle’s kitchen with his lady friend, Mary. This is what we made (I forgot to write down green bean casserole and sweet potatoes)
Here’s the spread!
I ate so many mushrooms this month. YUM.
I went through a roasted potato phase this month too.
Fresh rolls are a love language.
I forgot how much I love Toby’s tofu spread up in Oregon!
I made girl dinner for the girls!
Hooray for date night.
Hooray for meal prep & nourishment.
Hooray for my version of adult Lunchables.

My movement streak is going strong!! I hit 303 consecutive days of moving my body for at least 30 minutes daily/closing the rings on my Apple watch in November.
I have been tracking it with my monthly printable. Coloring boxes in is quite motivating. You can read about how I created my workout routine here.
I also continued the habit of waking up with no screens for the first hour of the day and it’s been SO good. It took me a few weeks to make it a real habit and I am glad I did.
If you need some accountability in your week, I host a group on Sunday mornings, called Self-Check-In. We go over our Intentions for the Week and check in with our calendars (I use my planner!).
If you want to join me on this journey of self-reflection, pick up one of my Currently Workbooks in my Etsy shop. I’ll have more in the shop soon if they sell out. If you’re international, you can order one through blurb.
I hope your December goes well! Take good care of YOU and remember to leave a trail of magic behind this month. Your future self will thank you!
