Currently Workbook 2025 Recap!
a look inside my workbook for 2025
While many people rush into January with big plans and momentum, I start the year by looking back. Reflection is how I ground myself before moving forward.
If you want help closing out 2025 and setting intentions for 2026, I’m hosting a Zoom workshop this Saturday. Details below.
If you need help setting intentions for 2026 while saying goodbye to 2025, join me this Saturday, 01/17, 10 AM-12 PM PST on Zoom- here’s the info!
Ok, let’s REFLECT!
In this post, I’m sharing all twelve months from 2025 to show how the workbook works as a living record.
Here’s the opening page of my Currently Workbook. You may already know I’m super into astrology, so at the beginning of 2025, I printed out this “Leo 2025 forecast” and pasted it in the intro to my workbook. Reading it over just now made me realize how accurate it was!! A lot of new people entered my life in 2025, and I am so grateful for all of the new connections I’ve made.
Speaking of connection…
My word for 2025 was CONNECT, and I explored it one month at a time inside my Currently Workbook. This art practice helps me slow down, reflect, and stay connected to my everyday life.
This year, I updated the workbook by adding seasonal bingo cards to the bucket lists. The goal was to include fun, low-pressure activities alongside the bigger bucket list items so there was always something to check off. Coloring in the squares turned out to be very motivating for me!
I also changed the format of the Currently section to boxes, and I LOVED IT. It was fun to color the squares and make lists. I was able to add more information and art to the pages than in the previous design.
Here are all 12 monthly spreads in my workbook! You can click the link under each month to see more of my monthly pages, a time-lapse video of me working on each spread, and a debrief each month here on Substack.

In the back of my workbook, I printed out a self-portrait for each month. For those of you who’ve asked, I use Parabo Press to print out the photos since my laser printer smears when I try to print things in color (sad trombone!). I am very happy with their quality. I cut the photos down to size and paste them in using this trusted dot adhesive tape.

May- December
Seeing the whole year laid out like this reminds me why I keep coming back to this practice. Writing things down helps me stay connected to my life as it is, not as I think it should be. I also love seeing my habits and goals play out over the year(s). It’s incredibly useful when I’m figuring out how I want to spend my time each season.
If you want a gentle structure for checking in, this is exactly what the Currently Workbook was made for.
If you’d like to work on a Currently workbook with me in 2026, you can still order one here! If you’re not ready to commit to a workbook, but want to play around with the practice à la carte, you can download a PDF here. Some of you even use it as a digital planner with the PDF on your iPads, which delights me!
If you’re an international friend, you can get one through Blurb- here’s the international link.
And if you need extra support working through & completing your workbook, I’m here to help! If you are a paid subscriber in The Handwriting Club Substack community, I host a twice-a-month hangout (via ZOOM) where I will help keep you on track. We can PRACTICE (my word for 2026!) art and self-reflection together. Here’s our schedule for the first quarter of 2026.
Happy journaling!

Just gorgeous. I always like seeing your work.
So much inspiration here!
