All my tiny little joys for July!
Let’s get into it!
In July, we traveled to Boston for my brother-in-law’s memorial service. It was a happy/sad time. We enjoyed a family reunion and got to see a Red Sox game while we were there.
My boys went on an epic baseball tournament trip to Florida, Georgia, and Texas, which left me home alone for two weeks. IT WAS GLORIOUS. I really wish my mom had been able to take a break and have the house to herself when I was growing up. That quiet time recharged my battery! It’s also nice to connect with myself and remember who I am when no one else is around.
I hogged the dining room table with all my art.
I painted!!
I started 33 days of morning pages.

I’ve also been listening to my focus playlist- Poppyseeds
I took a break from food blogging this month. I am working my way out of a food rut, mostly because I had time to myself and didn’t want to make a big fuss about food.
I relied heavily on bagged salads & gf nuggets in the air fryer (yum!)
I got a whole box of peaches from my friend’s sister!!!!!
I also made two batches of everyday pancakes this month. I forgot how much I love the chewy texture of them. They’re almost like a thick crepe.
A taco salad of some sort. I had a bunch of cilantro vinaigrette to use up.
Smoothie bowl to the rescue on a hot day!
I got some protein in with a rotisserie chicken and made my favorite soup!
Peanut butter (chunky!) with pb powder, Greek yogurt & bananas.
Healthy decadence.
One of the lunches I packed myself while working away from home.
Mom made ribs! (I’m Mom).
Of course, I got Dunkin’ iced coffee while we were in Boston.
Hot Italian on the green monster.

Thank you for joining me on this Currently workbook adventure!
I'm finalizing the cover for 2026 and will have it available for pre-order soon.
I am wishing you a wonderful August.

The fireworks look so fantastic, I’m going to try playing with my colour pencils this way. Thanks for the inspo!
I was shocked that your colored pencils showed up on gesso. I guess I have never thought to use them on my gesso pages. Do you have a specific brand that works better with the gesso? Gorgeous JULY page!! wow
