November Journal Prompt
pen to paper, let's get ready for November!
New month, let’s check in!
November!
November is a loaded month for me.
As some of you may know, it’s the month my Mom died— on Black Friday. November brings up a lot of feelings, and I tend to hibernate, make a LOT of soup, and process through art. This will be the 8th Thanksgiving without her. Taking the time to reflect as we head into the holiday season is how I cope. I have to really channel her to be the magic maker of my family now.
Grief doesn’t hurt any less. It just hits differently.

You can see how I worked with some of my grief in past Novembers inside my Currently Workbook
Check out these videos to see that process in action:

Here are all of the past Novembers I’ve tracked:
November 2019 (First year of Currently Workbook)
November 2018 (First year without my Mom)
November 2017- First month I didn’t share
November 2016 (first year I started Currently)
If you want help processing a year through art, you can get a Currently Workbook from my Etsy shop. If you’re an international friend, here’s a link to one through Blurb.
Let’s have a look at our journal prompt for the month!
