Last year, I took time to figure out what I like to bring on a picnic and created a helpful Picnic Packing List to refer to. You can read the post and look at all the items I take with me on the go (it’s kind of a lot!).

The packing list printable (pictured above) is free for paid subscribers. Just scroll to the end for the link!

From blankets to beverages, this all-in-one picnic packing checklist from Shutterbean helps you prep the perfect outdoor meal. Save this guide for easy picnic planning all season long.

Before you go on a picnic, here are a few things to consider:

Who is going? Not on the list, but you know, you should know.

Where is your picnic?

How long will it last?

What’s the weather?

Once you know that, you’re ready to make a list and get prepped!

If we’re going on a picnic together, I’m always going to bring my art stuff!

Here’s what I like to bring with me:

Art stuff includes:

  • favorite pens

  • a stack of index cards

  • playing cards

I’m definitely going to bring my pen bag!

And we must not forget FOOD! I put together a post on Picnic Food Ideas to help get you started.
