Picking a word for the year helps me set an intention and tone for the new year. It gives me something to meditate on. It’s a ritual I enjoy a lot. Speaking of ritual…
This year my word is RITUAL. I’m curious to examine the differences & similarities between:
RITUAL
HABIT
ROUTINE
PRACTICE
My goal is to share some of my favorite rituals with you this year. I’ve captured a few of them so far.
Here’s my workout-tracking ritual!
Here’s a little glimpse of how I start my ritual of meal prep:
I also have a weekly tarot card-pulling ritual. It looks like this:
You can read more about it here:
This book was recommended to me and I just checked this book out from the library to dive deeper!
If you are looking for some word inspiration, here are the words I picked for the last 5 years.
2019: VALUE
2020: GROW
2021: CARE
2022: SPIRIT
2023: NOURISH

How about you? Do you have a word for the year? Leave it in the comments!
It's my first time using the Currently workbook, and I've been struggling with my word of the year. I'm thankful for this post from you to encourage me to settle it. The reason I've been struggling is that I need to push back on the word I can't seem to shake: "Dread" ... So, I looked up some antonyms and I think I've settled on Courage.
Mine is Congruency! (Working *with* my brain instead of against it!)
