I write mostly in cursive script and mostly with a fountain pen.

I wish I had better luck with fountain pens. I don't let the ink dry and smear it all over the place!

Try Parkers Quink ink. It dries quickly plus a fine nib might suit you better.

I just found you, and love cursive writing. This would make a lovely tattoo. I’m going to try this. We learnt cursive at school, the catholic school I went to in the UK used to also be a convent.

When we turned 11 and went to the Secondary school. (Like high school) we had to write with ink pens, either dip fountain pens or Fountain pens with a cartridge. We had to have blotting paper on our desks and white-out... or Tippex was the brand in the UK.

Thanks for bringing back so many memories. Happy to now receive your posts in my inbox.

My favourites are the Carbon Platinum and the Lamy.

I just did and mighty proud how it turned out. What a stressd-relieveing ice breaker.

When I was at school with AlphaNuns, we did the continuous cursive exercise quarterly. It was one of my favorite exercises, even into Year 12.

My daughter, alas, cannot even dream in cursive, much less write. Her fancy elitist prep school didn't feel it necessary.

I write the q without a loop as taught at school, otherwise it is like a g. At the bottom of the descender angle a line slightly to the right to meet the next letter.
